Jenn Mathews is Connected to Vashon Island
Jenn Mathews has a long history and love with Vashon Island and it’s businesses. Watching her Grandmother start her own small shop on the Island and grow it to success to purchase the building her shop was located in (the building where Cafe Luna and the Bike Shop is in now) Jenn knows what it takes to make a business work on Vashon and wants to help wherever she can.
Jenn Mathews holds over 20 years in design (print and digital), website development, and most experienced in search engine optimization. Jenn has worked for large corporations including ADP, Nordstrom and now Groupon managing a team of SEOs, and she still works with clients large and small as a consultant. She has lowered her price of $1,500 for a WordPress website to just $500 for small businesses on the Island to help them get started, while providing Digital Marketing advice along the way.
Websites and SEO for Vashon Island Businesses
Giving back to Vashon Island is so important to Jenn that she offers a discount for a simple site for Island businesses. That’s right, local businesses starting out can receive a professionally designed website for as little as $500. Click “Get Started” to the right here and fill out the questionnaire. Be sure to select “Vashon Island, WA” as your location and Jenn will be in contact with how you can qualify for this discount.
How does it work?
Jenn will receive your information via email and contact you to schedule a time to meet on the Island. Either her home uptown, Cafe Luna, The Hardware Store restaurant, or The Roasterie. Here you to can talk about the vision for your business, style and color choices, and any other direction you would like to provide. Jenn will then send you a request for the first half of your total fee ($250) and will get your site set up with WordPress on your hosting, or her preferred WPEngine hosting. She will install the Avada Theme and design the website to your tastes incorporating search engine optimization and user experience design (value propositions and call to actions). Jenn will then contact you when she’s ready for you to review the site. You will, at that point, have a week or two (at most) to get up to 10 revisions you would like from Jenn in one pass. This is your only chance for any corrections or changes you would like so be sure you have it all reviewed. Jenn will then make those changes and hand over your final website at which point the final payment will be requested.
